This was the first year the team shifted event strategy, opted out of the show floor, and hosted a pop-up executive briefing center. There were private meeting rooms, several seminars with industry speakers and partners, happy hours with live demos, and other customer success activities. I was a core producer of this five-day event.

The following year the same theme motifs were adapted for a different space. The GoToMarket Ops team produced this event with a skeleton crew; the strategy: create a repeatable system for running + branding the event with less resources.

Google Cloud Next UK and AWS reInvent were the first events where Ionic debuted the new market positioning. We publicly announced Ionic as an external key mangagement solution with Google Cloud at the event. Google showcased Ionic in the keynote by Tom Kurian as well as in two separate, well-attended sessions with live demos.
